Hi,

IF you have an RLM license of Species, it should never run EAH.exe.
EAH.exe is only required for node locked licenses.

Well EAH.exe should run but it may be that you are trying to run it
from a network location and in that case Windows blocks *.exe from
running by its default security policy.

I Suspect the issue is that if you do have an RLM license server, the
environemnt variables on the local machine are not setup properly.
Remember it should be RLM_LICENSE = 5053@licenseserver where 5053 is
the port and licenseserver is the name or IP of the machine that has
RLM.exe installed on it.

We have a video here that shows how to set up environment variables:

Hello Ben,

Apologies for my very late reply, I haven't seen your email.

We will check our license server, since we are on an rlm license, eah.exe shouldn't be triggered right?

Thank you,

Halim.

Hi Halim,

You may have a trial license stuck on your machine. Just go to the equivalent
directory on your local machine and delete the client.lic file:

C:\Users\Ben Houston\Autodesk\Softimage_2014_SP2\Addons\ExocortexSpecies1.5.2
