Box Notes is where people work together, securely and collaboratively, to achieve better results. And, we are excited to let you know that you will begin upgrading to the all-new Box Notes starting August 17, 2022.
All-new Box Notes supports a broader range of content collaboration activities and includes powerful enhancements for real-time collaboration and organization including
- new content creation capabilities like advanced table functions, call-out boxes, and quote blocks
- additional display and formatting options such as enhanced typography, image, and code blocks
- more ways to organize your content with automated table of contents and divider lines
- and in-line cursors that help you keep track of collaborator edits for more productive and streamlined collaboration.
What you need to know about the upgrade
All-new Box Notes will be rolled out automatically to you. Once upgraded to the new experience, any Notes you create will be able to leverage all the fantastic features we’ve built. Existing notes will be automatically converted to the new experience with On-Demand Migration—meaning when an old Note is accessed, it will be converted to the new format—a process that takes milliseconds. After we complete the rollout of all-new Box Notes to all customers, we will migrate all remaining notes not covered by on-demand migration.
