This strategy allows you to set the tone for text-related discussions about challenging, sensitive or controversial topics. Anti-bias education teaches students how to approach difficult issues and discussions. Text graffiti can help start those discussions.

An attempt at using Tennotyper and game assets to make a Graffiti Mural from Orokin Text and other symbols or logos found within the game. This was made as a background Asset in the Aoi Atomicycle piece, meant to be Graffiti on the wall. Which I tried to make fit the general Y2K aesthetic, create a plausible Mural in the 1999 setting and befit the marketing of the 11 year anniversary. Additionally, the bottom row is peppered with references to the concurrent origin system appearing through Eternalism as brands in 1999. "Gilllychap Industries." "Hunhow Motors." Etc.

The Orokin texts actual translation is really a string of random thoughts and words that I tried to make an opportunity to practice typography. It's been a while but I think the main big ones translate to "Shachi Thrax Thrashing" or something like that. The long string of it at the bottom, exclusively to mimic large strings of fine print is the pacergram fitness test.

Love graffiti? So do we as a NY company! These rad rings are for all the bad ass people- aka you! Encourage yourself to take over your town with a graffiti love ring or be that feminist. Check the options in the drop down menu! Makes a great unique gift.

With your layer still chosen, right-click the text layer (in the Layers dialog) and select Alpha to Selection. Duplicate the text layer and send it under the original text layer. Click on Select > Grow. In the window that appears, you will see the number 1, but you want the layer you are growing to be larger. I used 15, but use whatever looks good to you.

While your grown text is still selected, choose a couple of colors for it - one light and one darker. Click on the Blend tool, choosing Normal Mode, gradient FG to BG, and Shape to Linear. Draw a line from top to bottom to create the gradient. Click on Select > None.

Go back to your original (black) text layer, and do the same steps again. You will right-click and choose Alpha to Selection in your Layers dialog again, then duplicate the layer and send that layer down a layer. This time, however, when you choose Select > Grow, change your setting to about one fourth of the original setting. I used 15 the first time, so I changed the second setting to 4. Choose two more colors, and create the gradient just as you did before. Click Select > None, then merge this layer down onto the other color layer.

Since this is supposed to be black paint, we need to darken it back, so click on Colors > Brightness and Contrast. Set the Brightness down to about -115 and the Contrast up to about 40, but you can play with these until you like them.

It will probably seem very obvious to some, but every time I make a superhero cake I am asked what cutters I use for the text, so I thought this mini tutorial on hand cutting sugarpaste text might be helpful. Feedback always welcomed!

So to start our tutorial we need an image first. We will gonna this wall and you can download this in HERE. After you download just adjust the contrast to 15. go to Image>Adjustments>Brightness/Contrast.

Now that we have our wall image. All we need to do now is to get that broom out of the image first. We will gonna use Vanishing Point for this. To use vanishing point go to Go to Filter>Vanishing Point. On Vanishing Point, choose Create Plane Tool (C). Select on the direction where the vanishing line are directing. You will notice it on the four corner that have just pointed.

Now that we are done saving the desaturated wall on the other working layer lets start making the other elements or the text and image that we will gonna put on our wall. Lets start first on the image. I prefer to work this on another working Layer.

Now Select all the layers of this image that we have just made. Once all the layers are selected right click on the Layers Palette and chose Merge Layers. Then Transfer the image into our main working Layer.

So now we will work on the text.I use Naldz Graphics as our sample text on this tutorial. Choose Horizontal Type Mask Tool (T). Use #ffffff color. for the Stroke, Go to Edit>Strokes. Adjust width to 13 pixel and color is #000000

Now in this part we will gonna use distort and scale.Go to Edit>Transform>Distort or Edit>Transform>Scale. Or you could use CTRL+T for shortcut command. Use the linings on the wall as your guide to come up a perfect transform.

This time we will gonna use displacement. and remember the psd we have just save a while ago? this is the time that we will gonna use it. Now click the Graffiti layer then go to Filter>Distort>Displace. Use this setting.

For starters, you will learn how to add simple text and how to adjust it. Taking full advantage of the Appearance panel, you will learn to create the editable part of your text effect. Using a bunch of simple circles, you will learn how to add some of the final touches for your text effect. Finally, you will learn how to create a subtly textured background.

Select one of your pieces of text and focus on the Appearance panel (Window > Appearance). Click the Add New Fill button to add a new fill and be sure that it lies above the Characters attribute.

Make sure that your piece of text is still selected and keep focusing on the Appearance panel. Add a second stroke using the Add New Stroke button and place it below all the other fills.

Next, you need to copy the attributes used for your top piece of text and paste them onto the other pieces of text. You can easily do it from the Layers panel (Window > Layers).

Open this panel, focus on the right side and notice that every shape comes with a little grey circle, a target icon. Hold the Alt key, click the target icon that stands for your stylized piece of text and then drag the cursor onto the circle that stands for one of the other pieces of text.
