I’m pleased to announce that Volume CXCII, Number 1 of Speculative Grammarian, originally published in June of 2022, is now available.

This issue offers many excellent articles, including the revelation of a secret, silent alphabet for assassins, an overview of the field of linguistics (that is, the study of linguists), and a discussion of the unlikely origins of the ethnography of communication in satirical linguistics—along with the usual collection of letters from our readers, breaking news, limericks and other poetry, linguistickish puzzles, and more...
