these are synonyms in Gherkin, so no difference.

Hi Gaspar is there any way i can generate Step definition files in VS 2008 as in visual studio 2012

VS2008 - this feature is not supported.
VS2012 - yes, use "generate step definitions from the context menu of a feature file.
