Sean and Ashley can't make Thursdays for a while, and Peter hasn't
been able for a while so... let's see if we can agree on another date!

Before Christmas, how about:

Monday 12th December
Weds 14th
(Thu 15th as fallback)
?

I'll vote for Monday 12th. Anyone else?

Yesterday, me, Serafina, Richard, and Julian met and talked about:

- For the Romanian People, by Richard.
An alternate history of the Romanian revolution, with vampires!
And kittens!
We loved the detail, and wondered if the pacing and reveal would
be improved by
being expanded into a longer piece.

- Runners (second part of chapter, somewhat revised), by Hakim
Good questions raised: why do they run? What are they raising?
Who pays them?
Why? Why don't they just use a mobile phone!

We also attempted to jam a 100-word story, inspired by the session we
did at Barcamp at weekend:

http://barcampliverpool.org/barcamp-2011/swans-chrome-quantum-100-word-stories-at-barcamp-liverpool-2011/

this attempt wasn't quite as successful, but a valiant attempt
nevertheless!

Challenges included some variant of:

- Serafina: cyberpunk robo-choir
- Richard: unicorns with guns
- Hakim: Pope Berlusconi
- Julian: (to bring in section from his NaNoWriMo WIP)

Other announcements:

* Serafina and Richard will be singing on Sat 17th Dec at All
Hallows, Allerton, 7:30pm, a concert of Christmas songs. (Ticket can
be bought on door)

* Twisted Tales is on tonight (Friday 25th) in, er, one-and-a-half
hours, eeek!

So, we'll meet next time on Wed 14th December - note the change of
day!
Hopefully this means that Sean, Ashley, and Peter might be able to
make it too.

See you then, and if weren't there last time, feel free to use one of

Hi People

Wednesday 14th December 2011 sounds good to me.

I'll be there with some biscuits for the sweet-toothed.

Ohh b****r I now am supposed to go to a professional bash on the 14th. I therefore have a contingency plan under development.

Make a note of my mobile number. the bash I'm going to is at Hard Day's nite, and will probably finish about the same time as you guys. So we can agree to meet up for a drink after I hope? I'll do my penance by buying a round!

Shame, but no worries, and would be great to catch up with you
afterwards. If everyone's been happy with the Hub afterwards, shall
we just say we'll meet there, and hopefully Al can join us.
