Gosh, I really didn't organize a January meeting did I? Been a bit
stressed with various things, sorry about that. If anyone would like
to arrange something for January, perhaps informal, then speak up now!

Until then, let's start with Feb. I'm going to propose the 2nd Monday
of each Month, which makes the next meeting:

*** Mon 13th Feb 2012 7:00-9:00pm ***
DoES Liverpool, 4th floor, Gostin Building (offices, left of the
retail part)
32-36 Hanover Street (between Central station and Liverpool ONE)
MAP + photo: http://bit.ly/Gostins
INFO: http://doesliverpool.com

See you there!

No problem. It's an informal thing.

And Liverpool are playing Man United.

Happy New Year

ah, are you going to the Liverpool/ManU match? My nephew from
Mauritius is hoping to go (if his friend-of-friend-of-aunty has
managed to get one). Enjoy, and see you in Feb!

Sorry - getting over-excited - I meant Wednesday is the Carling Cup Liverpool Man City match.

Saturday is the Man U match in the League and I haven't a cat's chance in hell of getting tickets to either - i let my season ticket lapse when I worked down south.

But I always go to a pub to watch the laeague matches - just for the atmosphere, dontcha know - and if your Mauritian nephew doesn't get lucky I'd be happy to meet in a pub downtown

Hi People

I'll be in the pub to watch the match Saturday - Liverpool V Manchester United in the FA Trophy (I got that wrong too, mea culpa etc).

The match kicks off at 12.45 pm 28th Jan on Sky. So you should try to get to the pub between 12.00 and 12.30.

There are two pubs I would suggest - one is Pogue Mahone's a few doors down on Seel Street off Berry Street in Chinatown. It is basically a Northern Ireland pub with the best Guinness in Liverpool.

The other one is O'Neill's at the corner of Wood Street and Hanover Street which is another Irish Pub but slightly more Republic of Ireland. because it is in Hanover Street it is easier to recognise for the  SpecFicLiv members who have been to Does in the Hanover St Offices.

I'm easy which one if anyone has any preferences.

Right now I am off to Pogue Mahone's  for the Manchester City match. All welcome - even if you're a Manc!
