As the game replicates the real-life challenges of struggles of time management, the player has to balance running the farm, completing goals, and avoiding hazards. The player has to pay attention to everything happening on the farm while attempting to try finishing by a certain time. This includes keeping enough space in the warehouse, keeping enough grass on the ground, saving a budget, ensuring no goods spoil, and quickly stop incoming predators from wrecking the progress.
In this game, the player runs the farm with most of the same animals from Farm Frenzy 2 for a pizza campaign. The game introduces the ability to order goods from the plane that can be produced on the farm for double the selling price. Throughout gameplay, there will be pizzerias to bake the pizzas with various goods. The game even has an option to skip the starting levels with the chickens.
The mouse is to click and move around on things along with the cursor. The keyboard is to type in the player name and has the ESC key set as a shortcut to go to menu when in a level. The mouse is mostly going to be used throughout gameplay.
The animals must be raised by the player in order to obtain the necessary raw goods to complete a level. Most levels start with atleast one animal and must be watched. Animals eat grass cultivated from the well and produce one type of good. If no grass is on the ground the animals will go hungry and die of starvation. Each livestock animal has a blue diamond-shaped health bar below that shows how long they have till they starve or need to eat. Once the bar goes past the very last diamond, the animal is dead. Although cows can sometimes die sooner for unknown reasons. This does not apply to cats and dogs as they do not eat or starve. The cat and dog are special animals that can help the player and make level completion easier and sometimes faster.
In this game, there are four types of dog variants. Whenever a bear is about to drop, the dog will slow down preparing to stop them. As soon as the bear drops, the dog runs to the bear and constantly barks at it and takes action. When the dog is upgraded, the dog is given a new breed (and barking sound) and becomes stronger.
In this game, there are four types of cat variants. Cat help collect any goods sitting on the field. Whenever a good is produced by an animak or factory, the cat will immediately run to it and store it in the warehouse as soon as it touches it. Cats can still be tossed away by bears and cannot store captured bears or uncollected goods if the warehouse is too full. When the cat is upgraded, the cat is given a new breed and collects goods faster and becomes smarter collecting the appropriate goods that are more close together at a time.
The goods (also called products) are the collectable items produced by animals and factories. Goods can be used to sell for coins or processed into a factory to create higher-priced goods to sell. Goods take time to produce and can spoil if sitting uncollected too long. Sometimes goods are also purchased from the plane.
Sometimes a factory has to be purchased in the same lot as another during gameplay. This means the player can only have one at a time and would have to have the other factory destroyed to place it. The former can be rebought back to its earliest variant anytime (if the player has enough money).
Pizzerias are special factories that process multiple goods into pizzas, each pizzeria requires a different selection of goods to make the specific pizza. Pizzerias only have four levels. Every pizzeria will require dough and butter among the lists of ingredients.
Acceleration can be done by clicking a factory several times till it's finished to speed it up even more. Although there is a red/orange bar that tells the factories' health for processing products. If it gets to red from accelerating too much, it will destruct back to its original buy-the-1st-part-of-it fee. It will be faster and easier to accelerate them when upgraded more till upgrade 5. At Upgrade 5 it's the fastest healing for only 3-4 seconds.
The warehouse is what keeps goods and captured predators (and animals when viewing it). Goods and captured predators are what take up room in the warehouse. In the warehouse, goods from smaller animals will take up less room, big animals will take more space with their goods. Bears take up 65% of what size milk takes up in the warehouse. If the warehouse is full, it will prompt the player with the red arrow and with a message saying "Your warehouse is full! Sell some of the goods to make more room!" the first few times. To free up the warehouse you must either sell goods and bears right away or process goods into plants. There are also upgrades available to increase warehouse capacity.
The truck is what sells goods downtown for more money. The truck is unlocked at Level 2. In the truck, it will show the shelves with the goods from the warehouse and shows the quantity of them and how much they can be sold for. When loading them into the truck, it puts the goods in crates labeled with what they are and how much room there is inside of it. The truck has slots to use with limited space. Animals can also be sold in the slots in crates as well. It will show the selling price of the goods total loaded to sell below the truck slots. If there are crates unwanted to be sold but loaded, they can be clicked on to unload putting them back to the warehouse. After everything is loaded, pressing the OK button will the deliver the loaded crates over to the market and back showing the price on the way and back. When it returns back to the farm, the money is collected and the truck notifies the player with a honk noise. Also the warehouse if clicked, it will show the same display of loading the truck, if the truck is gone driving the goods downtown to sell and back it will do nothing when clicked on. Upgrading the truck increases slots and delivers the crates faster.
The plane is what orders goods from the store for a small price. In the plane, it will show what goods are available to purchase for each level. These goods are only used for specific factories and to complete goals simply collecting a certain number of them. Similarly to the truck, the plane flies to the store once the goods are ordered with a limited crate capacity. Once the plane flies back to the farm, the goods fall from the sky with a parachute and makes a landing sound. They can be collected before or after they land on the ground.
The cage is used to catch any bears who drop onto the field. The player must click multiple times on the bear to build the cage around it. Once the cage is built, the bear is captured. The captured bear can be dispatched into the warehouse and sold with the car. After some very short time, if the captured bear is still on the field, it will start shaking its cage and flee back to the woods. Upgraded cages help the player catch the bears faster reducing the number of clicks to build the cage. The upgraded cages do not cost the player in-game as well.
The mobile iOS and Windows Phone versions of the game have small changes. All the gold and silver ranking times are extended up to no more than fifty extra seconds, the truck crates are able to hold a more limited amount of goods (as well as the plane), dogs and cats would remain the same maximum breed visually when upgraded, the in-game background music is shortened, and it includes more of the graphics from its successor Farm Frenzy 3. The iOS version went defunct in 2017 due to not being updated to support iOS11.
Farm Frenzy - Pizza Party! is a farm management game in which you start off by watering your fields to grow grass, then feeding it to your animals, and finally obtaining the necessary ingredients to make delicious pizzas.
The game has ninety different levels in which to raise the more than 10 animals available to you, among which are chickens, pigs, and cows. Plus, you can build fifteen different kinds of buildings where you can produce up to twenty-five different ingredients derived from your animals.
The game play is very simple: usually, all it takes to interact with and use the multiple elements in the game is to click on them. By doing this several times, you'll be able to master the game in no time at all.

When I first reviewed Farm Frenzy on Windows Phone, I found that the XBox Live title was very addictive, but it seemed to be missing a little something that kept me coming back. Well, six months later, on a whim I downloaded the app again, and it hooked me. Once I had burned through the levels, I was looking for more. And while it's not an XBox Live title, the 'sidequel' 'Pizza Party' is available as a standalone title in the Windows Store.
Like any good sequel, Pizza Party does not change the formula of the original too much. You still have a farm to manage, and as you gather eggs, milk, beef, and other produce from your livestock, you can either take them to market to sell them, or build factories to process the foods into something more valuable, assuming you have the time to spare.
