When you finally do make a choice and settle in with it, there is nothing worse than spending a day or two on a series only to realize it only has three seasons. Luckily, there are plenty of long series on Netflix that go for the long haul to fill your days and nights with.

There really is something for everyone among the best long shows on Netflix, which give audiences time to root for their favorite characters, see complex storylines develop, and binge-watch for weeks on end.
