Ran through the setup process on Lucid. Had to make one change to the
setup page to test for 10.04:

http://groups.google.com/group/spec_wire/web/setup

One nice thing about rubygems is that even though the script pulls
version 1.3.5, the update automagically brings it to 1.3.6.

The downside is that spec_wire doesn't completely work. Got "56
examples, 22 failures" in the end.

BTW, it's Lucid running on the Eeepc 1005HAB. Nice little machine.

Holy cow. Didn't realize there was that much work involved. A more
'lucid' approach might be to split the pure Ruby development
requirements into a preliminary page. Then an (ideal) set of
documentation on platform agnostic install of spec-wire.

Jon sent me a CD of OpenBSD, so we could do a page for that, then test
out the platform agnostic on each of Mac, BSD and Lucid.

BTW, did not see a notation specific to 10.04. (one for 9.04)

Did you use the netbook remix for the eeePC? Did that have something
to do with the test failures. I figured I'd wait till it drops to
install it. In the mean time, can you send me the rake output?

Also, there is a better way to start Rack based apps: config.ru and
--daemonize. This writes out the .pid file. I figure to turn the whole
start server, test and stop server as dependent Rake tasks

Cheers,
Ed

I attached the output from a 'rake spec'.

Hope that helps.

The TypeError appears to affect only one gem: RestClient. I will have
to see if they may any modifications and then update Github.
