The WCB CEO in his latest collabo, has featured Juma Jux in a song called Enjoy. Diamond told audiences that he does not have to do many press tours, unlike others, to which fans took as a shot at Ali Kiba and Marioo Tz who have collaborated on the song, Sumu.
@Wakwe_ There's nothing wrong with this or what Diamonds is doing really. Everyone in the industry does it, just that its usually on old songs and occasionally. When PSquare and Burna did it too frequently they got called out. Diamonds not only does it frequently, he does it too soon

In 2018 his song 'Uzuri Wako' (translation: Your Goodness) was banned by the Tanzanian Communications Regulatory Authority, along with songs from several other artists, including Diamond Platnumz, for going against Tanzanian morals and values.[5]
The song which is a blend Bongo Flava and Amapiano was welcomed with mixed review as some noting the song's resemblance to Spyro's Who Is Your Guy. The song was later taken down from YouTube after Congolese singer Sapologuano Odenumz claimed copyrights [9][10][11]
Jux released his debut studio album 'The Love Album' in 2019, consisting of a total of 18 songs. To date the album has received more than 1.3 million streams on Boomplay, making it one of the most streamed East African R&B albums to date.[22] The album's lead single 'Sugua' was a hit, amassing more than 10 million views on YouTube. The album was distributed by Africori the largest digital music distribution company in Sub-Saharan Africa, a partner of Warner Music Group[23]

Gaho: Thank you. I worked on the Diamond mini-album at the pace at which I usually work. So I don't think it was hard. I worked with friends from my crew KAVE, and I enjoyed it this time as well. Although songs of various concepts were included, I wanted to emphasize the sense of unity through the theme of the album, Diamond. To progress with a topic as large as this, and to research, I saw this as challenging work.
Gaho: I was the most satisfied with the title track Love Me as the style and the unique sound was something I felt, I wanted to make personally. I thought it was a good title song because of the painstaking effort, and I also thought that it fit very well with my taste.
Gaho: I think it was a lot of fun when I was in the composer's position. I think it's rewarding to write a song alone at home or meet someone to work on it. So I'm going to spare no time and develop and explore the ability to write better songs.
Gaho: The most recent OST song Yellow Light that I sang for the drama called King the Land is the one I find most charming. Of course, it's because it's a song I sang, but I felt good to sing such a bright and exciting song after a long time, and I thought that many people would feel better after listening to this song.

The singer explained that YouTube encouraged them to negotiate and reach an amicable agreement however when he tried reaching out to Diamond and Jux,they ignored him and then the song was pulled down.
Before Odenumz coming up with the complain ,Nigerians also accused Diamond Platnumz of sampling songs by some of their prominent artistes such as Burna Boy, Davido, Asake, Naira Marley among others but he took offence and accused West Africans for picking on him because of his success.
While Ne-Yo maintains his English throughout the song, and in fact a majority of the song is done in English, Platnumz offers his verses in Swahili while delivering the pop-style chorus in English. Platnumz is no stranger to English or international collaboration. He frequently collaborates with Nigerian artists, increasing his viewership to the West African coast. However, working with the famed R&B artist rides an increasingly popular wave of African and African-American artists coming together for musical production. Ne-Yo, who has been very active on the African continent, has been actively pursuing opportunities for collaboration with African artists since 2015. When these cross-overs happen, the African artists tend to take one of two routes: either spit their verses in their native language, or appeal to the mass consumer population and opt for English. Here, Platnumz does both.
The song is a feel-good hit, celebrating love and marriage, accentuating the emotional high through the Bongo Flava rhythm. With the music decisively East African, the lyrical language offers international recognition for western ears. It appeals to Tanzanian audiences as well as audiences who may not be familiar with Diamond Platnumz, but who certainly know Ne-Yo.
Platnumz is able to collaborate on a song with an English speaking American artist without alienating his fan-base at home. While English and Swahili are both official languages in Tanzania, Platnumz seems to have made a point throughout his career to lean towards Swahili in his songwriting.
Marina Diamandis is gearing up to release her fourth album, of this we've known for a minute now. But earlier this week, Marina offered fans a bit more in terms of concrete details. In an interview with Popbuzz, she confirmed that the first song from her new record will be out in January and that more is due out in April. "I want to tell people details all the time," she said.
