Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that Speakeasy had 24-hour phone
support? Or does that refer to the amount of time one has to spend on
hold?

I finally gave up last night after an hour and a half. I have called
back this morning, and guess what? I'm on hold!

What is especially annoying is that this problem is because a Speakeasy
tech, while trying to help me, turned off the mail forward I had set up
for a very good reason. It will take thirty seconds for them to fix the
problem they have created--hell, I could do it in less if I had
root--but I can't seem to get anyone on the phone.

This is not acceptable.

Mail forwarding can be setup by going to Speakeasy Webmail
<http://webmail.speakeasy.net> and going to the 'Preferences'
section.

Thank you. I'm not sure that would have worked in my case, since there's
actually a "double forward": my domain=> speakeasy.net =>
grace.speakeasy.org. In any case, it's fixed--I've have great
experiences with Speakasy support techs; the problem is getting through
to someone.

To paraphrase the comedian Steven Wright:

"24-hour phone support? Sure, but not in a row!"
