An Educational Trip to Chevron and TTM-JDA, Songkhla, Thailand
With the goal to bridge the gap between education and oil & gas industry, SPE-UTP-SC always believes knowledge and experience can be gained beyond the campus shore. When students learn theories in class, we bring them to see how the theories work in reality. They would be able to learn from the industry experts.
Thailand, one of the neighbouring countries of Malaysia is the oil and gas hub in Asia Pacific and the base for many world renowned companies and thus, this is a golden chance to get to know them more.

Details of the trip are as follows:
Date : 5th -7th July 2012
Time : Departure from UTP: 11.00PM of 4th July 2012 (Wednesday)
: Return to UTP: 03.00 AM of 7th July 2012 (Saturday)
Location : Songkhla, Thailand
Venues :1. Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd.
2. Settapat Training Center (Chevron Training Center)
3. Trans Thai-Malaysia (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
Fee/person : RM200 for SPE-UTP-SC member
RM250 for non-member
v The fee includes full trip transportation, accommodation, and one complimentary lunch.
v For International students who need the visa to Thailand, the Visa application fee will be on participant’s own expenditure (If any).SPE-UTP-SCwill request the acknowledgement letter for you. Please come to fill up the request form on 25 June 2012, 9-10PM at V4 Café.
This trip is opened to ALL BUT limited to 40 participants ONLY.
Top priority will be given to SPE-UTP-SC members but non-members are as well welcomed. Registration is first-come-first-serve basis.
