MSconvert stopped working

Dear all,

recently, msconvert stops in the middle of a Thermo raw file to mzxml conversion. For hours instead of minutes the conversion does not stop, but nothing happens. The command line code I use is:

msconvert %%A --mzXML --filter "peakPicking cwt snr=5 peakSpace=0.3 msLevel=1-" --64 --zlib --outdir mzxml

Is there a way to print error(?) messages to troubleshoot what is going on? Or is there a known bug that leads to such a problem? The GUI works fine and can convert the respective raw files. 

The proteowizard build is:
