The Windows installation instructions call specifically for
ActivePerl, but Strawberry Perl would be more convenient in my case
and perhaps others' too. Does anyone know if that works OK, is already
known not to work, or just hasn't been tried?

Thanks,

James

To my knowledge it hasn't been tried.  Technically it should work, though the Strawberry installation might be missing some CPAN modules that TPP uses.

There are some hard-coded #! paths in the scripts that relate to the installation directory that Active Perl uses, but not Strawberry. There's probably some way of fixing Apache to ignore those paths and instead look on the system path, but I got it all to work simply by creating a symlink to point from c:/perl/ to c:/strawberry/perl/.
