Hi,
I just started to use TPP, in ordet to use pep 3d, but during the file conversion (raw to mzXML) I heve the following error:
processing file: c:/Inetpub/wwwroot/ISB/data/1.RAW [RawFile::ctor] Reading Thermo RAW files requires the decimal separator to be '.' - adjust regional/language settings in the Control Panel. Error processing file c:/Inetpub/wwwroot/ISB/data/1.RAW
I have on my pc windows vista, I changed the language setting to English (USA), Italian language
Anyone can help me?

Hi Maria and Goran,
You can solve it yourself by changing your decimal separator to be '.' in regional/language settings. This is not an msconvert problem, it is a limitation of MSFileReader. Contact Thermo if you want to add your complaints to our own (we've tried to get it changed!). :)
If your decimal separator is already '.' then that's a separate problem. Let me know.
Thanks,
-Matt

Hi Joe,
I downloaded using the only link found: TPP_Setup_v4_4_VUVUZELA_rev_1.exe
and yes I'm using msconvert.

Hi Maria,
Which version of TPP are you using and are you using msconvert to do the conversion?

That's puzzling. The "list separator" also has to be ";" but that's a separate error message. I wonder if your "." is actually some different unicode character? Please copy/paste it from the regional language dialog to your reply.

Try this latest version:
teamcity.labkey.org:8080/repository/download/bt36/60529:id/pwiz-setup-3.0.3768-x86.msi?guest=1
The error message will say what pwiz thinks your decimal/list separator is if it's not '.' or ','.
