how to convert profile data in RAW to centroid data in mzXML?

Hi, 

I'm wondering if there is any tools can convert profile data in RAW to centroid data in mzXML? I have tried ProteoWizard, but it didn't change profile data to centroid data. I current don't have access to Xcailbur.

Hi SunSun,

Did you try to check the "Centroid all scans (MS1 and MS2) -- meaningful only if data was acquired in profile mode" in the TPP Conversions options ?

ProteoWizard’s msconvert *can* convert profile to centroided. That it didn’t for you means that either incorrect settings were applied or there is some other glitch to be fixed.

Thank you Eric, I just found out the Peak picking filter in msconvert will centroid the data. I guess the problem is solved!
