dear list,

i would like to run the interactparser and the mascot2xml with semitryptic as enzyme.
unfortunately, i do not know how as the help of both programs does not contain this information.

it would be great if someone could tell me the exact enzyme name i have to specify.

many thanks in advance,
andreas

Andreas,

Running Mascot2XML without any arguments does supply the info you're
looking for:

-E<sample_enzyme>

Recognised <sample_enyzme> (semi-cleavage specification: semi<sample_enyzme>)
trypsin : cut(KR) nocuts(P) sense(C)

Semi-cleavage can be specified as semi<sample_enyzme>,
e.g. semitrypsin, semiargc
