You are invited to the 6th International Meeting on Artificial Intelligence and its Applications (RIIAA) at Universidad San Francisco de Quito, Ecuador, on 19-25 February 2024. Registration is now open until Friday, October 13, 2023. Click here to confirm your attendance. Scholarships are available to help cover airfare and accommodations for students based on merit.
RIIAA is a non-profit organization bringing together Latin American students, academics and professionals with the objective of promoting and developing AI in academia, industry and government. Our mission is to catalyze the development, adoption and advancement of AI in Latin America. To date, we have held 5 annual conferences and welcomed over a thousand participants from all over the world.
This year, we’re pleased to announce keynote presentations by Kevin Murphy (Google DeepMind), Rubén Villegas (Google DeepMind), Sara Hooker (Cohere for AI), Felipe Oviedo (Microsoft Research), among others to be announced soon. The event will be split into four components: an Education Track - Courses and Workshops; an AI Research Day - Focus on Latin America; an Industry Day - Focus on Applications of AI; and a Hackathon Weekend during which apply the skills learned throughout the week to real-world problems.
The event is a great opportunity for students, academics, and industry members to learn about the latest development in AI and develop practical applications, and to network and explore careers and partnership opportunities.
