As a Python / Django engineer, you will work on a small, nimble team to solve difficult problems for clients in the US. You will be required to craft solutions and architectures, document your work, and engage with other engineers to ensure high quality and productivity across your projects. You will also be asked to mentor and assist junior team members and perform detailed code reviews of their work.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2-5 years of software development experience
- Experience using Python / Django
- Excellent social skills
- Strong English skills in both written and spoken communication
- Ability to work directly with client teams as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing web-based software using Python frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask, Pyramid)
- Knowledge of public cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure Cloud Platform
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and Reporting
- Experience debugging complex applications
- Experience working with third-party developer tools including documentation, APIs, SDKs, and libraries.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and best practices for web services, full-stack system architecture, and system integration
Location:
Ravn is a remote-friendly company and wants employees to be comfortable working from home or in the office. At the moment team members will be asked to continue working from their home. Plans are currently being made to build an office space in San Salvador-El Salvador and we have an office in Arequipa - Peru.
