Hello all,

Stanford University and Spatial Ventures are hosting a breakfast panel on Stanford campus on December 1st with some amazing panelists:

  • Esther Dyson, Internet Guru turned Space Angel
  • George Whitesides, CEO and President of Virgin Galactic and The Spaceship Company
  • Alexandra Hall, Sr. Director, Google Lunar X-Prize
  • Bretton Alexander, Director Strategy & Business Developement, Blue Origin

We'd like to invite you to hear from those leading experts about the connection point between entrepreneurs and space exploration.

Recent changes in the business ecosystem of space exploration are opening the door to innovation and entrepreneurship much the same way as the telecom deregulation of the '90s triggered the internet revolution. Companies like Virgin Galactic and the Google Lunar X-Prize have lowered the barrier to entry to commercial space exploration and have paved the way for entrepreneurs to enter this field literally at its beginning. Backed by Internet gurus like Esther Dyson, a new generation of space developers is coming. Come and hear more from a panel of internet and space VIPs.

This event is sure to sell out, so please register early! Details are at this link: http://bit.ly/SpatialVentures. Looking forward to see you there!

Happy Thanksgiving,
Sophie-Charlotte

Hello all,

Many of you have asked if they needed to be Stanford alumni to attend this breakfast. NO! It's open to EVERYONE.

We've expanded the room to accommodate a larger audience, so please register at this link (or just show up!): http://bit.ly/SpatialVentures. It's cumbersome for both guests and Stanford alumni: you need to create an account by clicking the 'register for this website' link  in the comment section to the right of the sign-up area.

Cheers,
Sophie-Charlotte
