Null Z Values in MSSQL Spatial

Hello,

I am trying to use SpatialKit 4.0 with ArcGIS 10.3.1. While loading layers from our SQL server, SpatialKit throws an error that says "Geometry has null Z values" and it will not display any geometries that have null Z values. Is there a way to override this behavior and assume a z value of 0?
