How split a MultiPolygon in singles Polygon

Hi,
I have a dataset of multipolygons.
I'm searching a solution to obtain a dataset of single polygons.
This mean pass from a table of 10 records (every geom multipolygon has
almost 2 polygons part,
to a new table of almost 20+ records.
I see the option CastToSingle(geom),
but it simply return NULL if the MultiPolygon has more then 1 part.
