Hi there,

If any women on the team are interested in playing both on Saturday and on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. next weekend.

I am happy to pass on the message but would remind players to be ready and able for Spastic Plastic's playoffs on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

David

Hi everyone,

First off, we are presently still short on the ladies side, particularly since we are looking at playing two successive 90 minute games with a 10-15 minute break in between. Celeste and Heather are confirmed, and Jen Wilkinson is likely, but not certain. Kara would have to be able to find someone to cover her shift to be able to play.

All of our other subs have already been canvassed, and so we definitely need to find one or two more women to add a sub or two, but at the very least to ensure that we don’t end up with only two women.  Dave, perhaps indeed someone from your team? (Among the men, only Pete has had to withdraw so far.)

I expect/hope that we will be able to field a squad, though, and so here’s the info already so that everyone can already plan their weekend.

Morning session -- Teams Ranked# 1-32   (to possibly watch)
9:00AM - 10:30AM semifinals
10:40AM - 12:10PM finals (except for championship game)

Championship Game
In an effort to allow for the most spectators, the championship game will be held at 12:00.

Afternoon session -- Teams Ranked# 37-68   (our games)
1:30PM - 3:00PM semifinals
3:15PM - 4:45PM finals

We should touch base in the lead-up to the weekend to organize meeting up out there as well as perhaps rides. My inclination right now is to get there late morning to watch a bit of the high-caliber play, and I’d be happy, if I could catch a ride with somone for that.

Cheers,

Claus
