How can I move a group of messages (one message and all subordinated) in the sequence diagram before or behind another group of messages?

(Using [ALT] + Mouse only moves exactly one message which destroys the group to be moved. Also I don't find a way to cut & Paste a group of messages. However cut, copy, paste, delete seems be an issue for it's own.)

Maybe you can try to put all the messages in a fragment and then move the fragment?

Hi Geert,

when I create a new fragment (type = "seq") and I move this fragment then its content is moved with it - but unfortunately it was again not possible to me to move the fragment beyond other messages or fragments.  When I move with ALT then only the fragment border is moved.   :-/

Then I guess you can't.

You could send in a feature request.

We did do some work on re-ordering sequence fragments and their contents, but unfortunately the changes didn't make the cut for version 11.

Thank you for your answer anyway. At least I can lean back now and stop searching for a way that isn't there.

Sequence diagrams are heavy used diagrams in our department to visualize complex workflows (including concurrency scenarios) so I'm looking forward for great improvements in the efficiency of working with them in EA.   ::)
