Constraints automatically added to stereotype for some connector labels

I've created a profile containing connector stereotypes. Some are extended from Association, some from Dependency. Both types have constraints.

When I add these connectors to a diagram, displaying only the stereotype name for the connector, EA seems to add the constraint names to the stereotype label for the Association-derived connectors, but not the others.

I'd like to just display the stereotype name. Is this expected behavior?
