Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all having a great week.
I first wanted to congratulate Tariq Abudayeh one more time for his excellent performance yesterday at the area B3 contest! Tariq was the first member of our club participating at an area contest, so his performance has made us very proud.
Unfortunately, some of us were not able to attend the contest yesterday, since we had night classes. However, there are still many contests happening in the area within the next few weeks, so I want to encourage you all to attend a speech contests. These events are a great opportunity to learn from more experienced Toastmasters speakers, and also a very good way to network with professionals in the Bay Area.

A few of us in the club will be attending area B4's contest next Thursday 9/20, at Pay Pal in North First St., so if anyone wants to join us, please feel free to let me know and I will give you more details. The event is from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
I also wanted to take this opportunity to inform you that we have created a web form where you can now request roles (including prepared speeches) in advance. This form will be a good resource if you want to start planning your speeches a few weeks in advance. Click the following link to access the form: Spartans Toastmasters Role Request
