Hi fellow Toastmasters and friends,

Please find below an opportunity with a NGO "Young ambassadors", who are seeking Officers/Members of the Toastmasters club to volunteer as coaches at their Los Altos, San Carlos and Half Moon Bay locations for kids between 7 - 14 years, as a paid intern!.

If this is something that excites/interests you, do contact any of the Spartans Toastmasters officers and we would be more that glad to pass on the information to Lauren Gorski.

Thank you!

Hi Spartans Toastmasters!

My name is Lauren Gorski, and I work for a nonprofit organization called Young Ambassadors. We teach classes through the city community center on public speaking and leadership and we are currently seeking coaches for our Los Altos, San Carlos, and Half Moon Bay locations. I wanted to reach out to the Toastmasters group if anyone who is an officer or member would be interested in becoming a coach as a paid internship? I would really appreciate it if you could pass the message along. It's a fun position and involves helping students from 7 - 14 years old build confidence, critical thinking, and leadership skills through games, speeches, and community involvement.

You can check out our new blog: youngambassadors.blog.com to get an idea of the class. It offers a link to our old blog which has session photos and more. Feel free to ask any questions or give us a call.

Sincerely,
Lauren Gorski

Anand,

This is highly suspect and is certainly not part of Toastmasters International in any way. If you and other members in your club are interested in Youth Leadership, please reach out to our Lt. Governor Marketing, Atul Nayak (cc'd), for information on this and many other opportunities that exist within Toastmasters.

I strongly suggest you scrutinize this so-called opportunity - what real organization is represented by a blog only?

Best regards,
Rita

Sure Rita,

I have sent out an email earlier today to the organization (email) requesting additional information and if I/Officers hear back from them in the next 24-48 hrs I would share that with you and Atul on further details and steps, else would place a hold on this communication.

Would definitely like to hear from Atul on any potential opportunities in Youth Leadership.
Regards,

Anand Desai
