When I use MIDI as the timecode source I am not able to change it to anything below 0, so is there a way to have no delay after pausing on reaper? I am using the latest version of vista and a new issue i see is that the timecode does not start at 0 seconds at the start, it starts from 4 seconds and 18 miliseconds.

As for timecode starting later, confirm that timecode offset and playback lag compensation are both set to 0 (as shown in my screenshot above). If the issue still persists then it must be something with how you have reaper set up or your timecode file in reaper.

Is there anything you recommend i do because im trying to use reaper as like a timestamp thing so when i click pause i know where to put a cue and then do that again and again but i cant do that if theres a 1 second delay bc of freewheel

Usually I will first put markers in Reaper to find the exact locations that I want to place my cues. Then I open a TC window in Reaper to take those TC values and put then directly into my Vista cues. I have also had some fun with setting up the Reaper timing scale to Measures and Beats to allow the cursor to lock to the beats. This makes it very easy since that never is the same as the TC value.

We first experienced the Alpha King when up on the NW surface randomly whilst collecting drops and the odd bit of obsidian and element ore. Unfortunately we used that barb in a "test" battle against the Alpha Rockwell - which with only 2 of us we surprisingly won!

Now the rest of the tribe need to also do it we spent hours up on the NW surface killing hundreds of them with no luck spawning an Alpha. Also tried standing on a rock where alpha nameless was spawned all night on a 10/90 day/night and still no luck.

Something to note, I have seen 2 alpha reapers in just a few short trips to the surface. Both of those have been high in elevation oh the jagged rocks. The first one I wasn't ready to fight, so I ditched it. The 2nd I killed solo. It did a lot of damage, but died really quickly.

Have not yet seen any, and that's through many trips to the surface (have a fair number of ascendant blueprints and saddles and such to show from it). Usually we get two, sometimes up to 6 or so reaper kings per beacon drop, occasionally it's just the seekers. But alphas have been nonexistant.

The problem with Aberration is theres only 1 active alpha per map. Theres only 1 alpha karkinos or alpha basilisk or alpha reaper king spawned at given time until dead or despawned. Thats what ive seen as server admin of a private server.

I can confirm this is not the case. On my official server I have fought and killed an alpha basilisk while my tribe mate killed an alpha karkinos at the same time. Alphas simply have a low spawn chance.

This past weekend I also had two Alpha Reaper Kings spawn at the same time at the Northwest entrance close to the charge station before you drop down and have a chance to fight anything aside from the stray seeker.

I also had experience with the Karkinos this weekend. I killed three in a matter of minutes since they were all close to each other. I would work on one go and get a bit of health and see another one in my area while the first one was still alive.

When I find a cookie cutter that can be used for multiple designs it's like winning the lotto. Not that I know what winning the lotto feels like, but I imagine it's an exciting feeling. Well, I hit the proverbial jackpot when I received my gnome cutters in the mail from Sarah at Klickitat Street. After she recently announced she was making her own line of cookie cutters and wrote a blog post showcasing the variety of designs you can make, I just had to order them.

Once I got my hands on these cutters, I couldn't wait to put them to use. It's Halloween this week and I knew just the design I wanted to try out. Using Sarah's girl gnome cookie cutter, I made grim reaper cookies.

Making these grim reaper cookies requires one easy alteration. After cutting out the girl gnome shape in the dough, simply trim off the hat at an angle with a knife like shown below. Bake and you are ready to decorate.

Just like I mentioned in my Adding a Ghost post, these cookies use a great technique I learned from the Marlyn of Montreal Confections. Her Princess Realistic Eyes tutorial is one of my favorite techniques. She adds depth and dimension by first painting on the cookie surface, then flooding around it. Click here to check out the tutorial as well as all her other amazing YouTube videos.

With purple (or which ever color you choose for the cloak) piping icing, pipe over the hood outline, the teardrop-shaped hood opening, and around the lower edges of the cookie. Fill the middle with flood icing. Leave the icing to dry and crust over. (About 1 to 2 hours.)

Once the base layer is dry, add the two arm sleeves. I like to pipe the circle openings first, then connect the circles to the middle shoulder bump of the cookie. Fill the middle area with flood icing.

With white piping icing, pipe a keyhole-shaped skull with two eye openings then flood the middle area. Using a #1 icing tip, add skeleton hand details by piping tiny dots and dashes. Leave this to dry completely. (6 hours or overnight.)

The finished grim reaper cookies should look something like the ones below. Staring at these pictures now, I think I would change the hand positions if I attempt these cookies again in the future. To me, these grim reapers look like they're playing an imaginary saxophone, or a clarinet. Maybe a fun sinister pose would have been more appropriate, like a Mr. Burns style of hand gesture.

Reaper is a short-ranged flanker and one of the deadliest heroes in the game up close, with even Tanks like Reinhardt and Roadhog melting under the power of his Hellfire Shotguns. Wraith Form is one of the greatest invulnerability tools in the game; Reaper can use it to escape or chase his enemies thanks to his increased speed and immediate reload. Shadow Step is another flanking ability; provided enough time to set it up, he can use it to move to any location within his line-of-sight. When the main fight begins, Death Blossom can turn the tide of battle when using it in the middle of the fight. Its high constant damage can tear most heroes to shreds if they are not prepared. Reaper's relative simplicity makes him a good hero for new players, while still remaining deadly in experienced hands.

Reaper lacks in-combat mobility, as his Wraith Form is mainly used to save his life and escape from near-death situations, and Shadow Step is very loud and makes Reaper unable to move for a while, so he becomes easy prey if spotted. Reaper works best in close-combat and is nearly useless in fighting at mid- to- long range due to quick damage falloff and the large spread of his weapon. Death Blossom is easy to shut down by stunning Reaper or blocking it with a friendly barrier. Reaper is most effective in a team composition or a map that keeps the fight in close-quarters.

Reaper dual-wields Hellfire shotguns, and is equipped with a specialized mask. While the latter has its practical uses, Reaper also keeps it on to hide is disfigured face, and to not be recognized by his former family.[2]

As Gabriel Reyes, he had a sense of honor that his later persona came to consider antiquated. As Reaper, Reyes believes in a "code of violence," which is, in his view, the only code the world respects. To this end, he is willing to work with Talon, believing in Doomfist's vision for a new world order.[2]

Gabriel Reyes was born in Los Angeles, California.[9] The Reyes family had lived in LA for generations.after moving from Mexico to the us His mother was a social worker, and his father operated his own convenience store. Both of Gabriel's parents were proud of their intelligent, athletic son, and supported his decision to join law enforcement after graduating college early with a degree in criminology.[8]

Reyes joined the Los Angeles Police Department.[8] As a police officer, he participated in hundreds of violent crime arrests.[2] Reyes fast-tracked his way into a detective posting, where he was able to hone his already keen sense of observation and talent for information-gathering. He came to realize that sometimes, the quieter work was essential to unraveling larger issues.[8] However, despite all of his work in the force, the crime rate never seemed to decrease, leading him to believe that he would have to get to the source of the problem to truly destroy it.[2]

In his twenties, looking for a change of pace, Reyes enlisted in the United States Army, some nine years before the outbreak of the Omnic Crisis. Reyes did well and became known as a mustang, working his way up through the ranks before obtaining a senior officer's position,[8] then veteran status, and was highly respected.[9] He helped topple a number of authoritarian regimes, but watched in dismay as mega-corporations took control and repeated the same abuses just to maximize profits. Time and again, Reyes watched as the innocent suffered while the elites escaped prosecution. He took part in numerous extraction missions, though was was often tasked with simply extracting the target and handing them off to another party. Sometimes, to a fate "too ghastly to recall."[2] Later, he became involved in matters of national security.[8]

Reyes later earned a coveted position in the government's controversial and classified (but widely acknowledged) Soldier Enhancement Program. Military scientists shaped Reyes and other inductees into the perfect soldiers, augmented with superhuman speed, strength, and agility.[9] During the soldier enhancement program, Reyes was referred to as Soldier: 24.[10] He made few friends among the other recruits.[8]

Reyes was still part of the Soldier Enhancement Program when the Omnic Crisis began. He helped coordinate multiple early troop movements in response to Anubis's attacks, and fought fiercely against the proposal that all large urban meetings be ceded to Anubis. It was during one such comittee meeting that Reyes learned that both his parents had been killed in an assault on Los Angeles. Reyes became depressed, blaming tactical decisions he'd taken part in for the loss of his parents. He continued to train with other SEP candidates, but those who knew him during could tell that Reyes had become unfocused. He remained standoffish towards his fellow candidates, as he was aware of the probable outcomes that most of them would experience (death).[8]
