Hey All
We lost my second slide from last night:
Here is the reference for are TECH stat:
Mary Madden and Amanda Lenhart. Online Dating. Washington, DC: Pew Internet & American Life Project, March 5, 2006 http://www.pewinternet.org
Here is the info we want to use:
Yet, dating websites are just one of many online avenues that can facilitate a romantic connection. Three out of four internet users who are single and looking for a romantic partner have done at least one dating-related activity online—ranging from using dating websites, to searching for information about prospective dates, to flirting via email and instant messaging, to browsing for information about the local singles scene.
Here is the link to the audience participation NEA:
NEA National Arts Participation 2008 http://www.nea.gov/news/news09/SPPA-highlights.html
In addition to the NEA website's report.... I think we can use info from this LA times Article to build a simpler AUDIENCE DECLINE slide:
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/culturemonster/2009/06/nea-reports-decline-in-arts-audiences-for-2008.html
Also....don't forget to use ideas directly from the Google doc of the application and the original spark documents.
One final note when we talked with Kathy Moore today. She really like it when I said that Spark was one website that solves two problems. She said that investors LOVE things that are models for B2B business and Consumer to Business. So our two problems are people connecting in healthy ways (dating) and butts in seats.
Thanks Rosenberger see you in a few hours!
GO SPARK
