Manually entering a frequency in the VFO?

Hi there,
I’ve gotten my Hermes lite, and expert amplifier working well with Spark SDR, and so far so good. The only issue that I’m having now is to enter a frequency manually in VFO. When I’m in the VFO using VoiceOver, the built-in screenreader for the Mac, is there a work-around to enter a frequency? If I’m going to enter the frequency 3.806 MHZ, or 3806 KHZ, once I select the 80 meter band, would I enter it has 003806? 03.807? What’s the best course of action?
