Program With An Airspy HF+ Discovery. ?

Hello,

Heard about SDRSpark, and would like to try

it out on my mac.

I read, somewhere, that it is usable with an Airspy HF+ Discovery.

True ?

Can't get program to see the radio.

Any hints or suggestions, would be most appreciated.

Sr. Citizen now, very, so very explicit instructions would be great.

Hi Bob,

first of all you need to be using a recent version, either 2.0.975 from the sparksdr website or a recent test release from here Version 2.0.991 .

Then you need to click on the general settings ( the gear icon) and enable the airspy driver for your radio, then restart spark and it should all just work.

I have vers. 2.0.33 which I guess is old.

I cannot find any place to download the one you say I need, the newer, version 2.0.975

I tried, really.

Can you perhaps post a link to it for me ?

either scroll down a bit here  download - SparkSDR or use 2.0.991 from the first post here  Version 2.0.991

Hi,

Much thanks ahop for pointing me in the right direction.

I should have scrolled down further to see the new version that would work with an Airspy.

Have it going now on my mac.

So embarrassed to admit that I hadn't known about this mac program before.

Looks really well done, and will use and experiment a lot with it.

Question:  Will blame it on old age now, but is there a User Manual for ?

If so, where please ?

I looked, really, but don't see any.

Hi Bob,

glad it is working for you. The question mark icon (?) in the toolbar at the top of spark should open the manual, it is not big but covers most things.
