using websockets with spark SDR?

Folks,
I’ve been using spark SDR on the mac with voiceover, Apples built-in screenreader for folks like me who are totally blind, and so far it works pretty well. HOwever, I’ve been rading some of the thread about using websockets, and I’m wondering if using a websocket connection would allow me grater control of the app through the browser than I’d get through using the app interface? I’ve turned it on under the experimental features tab, but I’m not sure how to implement it. I’m envisioning the ability through my browser to turn on and off my radio, change bands, manually enter frequencies, and activate the ptt with a keystroke Is this possible?
