The AirSpy HF+ support is most appreciated, currently running four of them in WSPR mode. Use of the wsprd decoder with the depth choice menu is great.

There is an anomaly when changing the sample rate (via the sample rate menu).  Changing the sample rate invisibly changes the currently tuned frequency such that a change from 768 to 192 for example moves the active frequency outside the WSPR pass band.  The displayed frequency is not affected and is thus rendered incorrect; this operator had a hard time working out why there weren't any wspr stations being received :-)

As a work around, selecting the desired wspr frequency after any sample rate change fixes the problem. Selecting the same wspr fx from the star menu or by clicking on the display to change the displayed frequency and then change it back again also fixes the problem.

It would also be much appreciated if more of the SpyHF+D sample rate options were available, including down to 14ksps.

Congratulations on a brilliant coding effort and a really nice GUI.

Further to the above:  The same issue applies when restoring from saved state,  ie. the saved session appears to have been restored but the saved frequencies that are visible are incorrect.  It appears that during the restoration process the saved fxs are being set before the saved sample rates, so that when the saved sample rates are applied the fxs are altered from the displayed values.

=> wish list:  an option in preferences to restore the previously saved session automatically on boot.  During power failures most computers can be set to reboot automatically and to launch the previously running apps, but the app needs to restore it's own state.   Highly desirable for 24/7 WSPR operation in power failure prone regions like mine :-)

Hi Phil,
thanks for the report. I'll look into this.
You can pass a profile name in the command line to load a profile on booting (see the manual).
I doubt that I'll add sample rates below 48k due to the internal workings, what do you want 14k for?

Thanks Alan, having a workaround means it's not a show stopper but it is a non-obvious cause of lack of wspr reception.
When it's as easy as selecting minimum bandwidth from a menu, why not :-)  Hopefully the minimum sample rate helps reduce exposure to some of the high close in signals plus any spurious coming back out of the AirSpys being heard by other AirSpys. My antenna splitting arrangement is as low loss as I can make it and has no rejection between ports.

Hi,

If a duplicate, I apologize

How do I get it to run with an Airspy HF+ Discovery ?  (on a mac)

Program will just not see the radio.

What, as usual, am I missing, please ?

Thanks,
Bob
