Waterfall and Spectrum resize?

Hi all,

I am enjoying using SparkSDR with my HL2. I use it mostly as a "single RX", and because of this I would like to make better use of all the empty space below the single RX I have open. Is it possible to expand the waterfall and spectrum display to fill the entire window? Or to be able to resize/move the different UI sections as you like? I see that the waterfall automatically scales horizontally, but not vertically as I had hoped.

As a side note, the way SparkSDR is able to connect to my HL2 easily over VPN and even with simple port forwarding is fantastic, so I would like SparkSDR to become my daily driver software, but at the moment I miss the "big screen" layout too much!

Maybe there is a way to do this that I haven't discovered? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
At the moment there is no way to do this.  I am working on an update to the waterfall and spectrum and might allow this at the same time.

Thanks Alan,
That sounds great! I will stay tuned for future updates! Thanks for the work you are doing.
As a separate question, how difficult would it be to compile SparkSDR for Android? Is it possible? I think the touch interface would work very well on Android, and would be an excellent match for the remote capability it has now.

Hi,
I prototyped an Android version early last year ( whilst isolating with covid), It all basically worked except for audio .  I put it on hold waiting for Avalonia 11.0 which has much better Android support, this finally released a week or so ago.  My recent rework of the audio code was partly to make it easier to make Android audio work.  Not sure when I'll get back to this, but the bits are falling into place.

Thanks Alan, wow that is very exciting! If you ever need a beta tester, let me know and I will be happy to help in any way that I can.

Hello Alan,

I hope all is well. I just thought I would check in and ask if there has been any more steps towards an Android release?
SparkSDR running on a phone would be a game changer :)
