Hello,
I've used hamlib's rigctld for some time between different applications (like VarAC) and SparkSDR to avoid excessive delays in command execution over SparkSDRs rigctl port due to not implemented commands. Unfortunately, starting with rigctld from Hamlib 4.6, rigctld checks whether the transceiver is powered using the "\get_powerstat" command and does not allow to change the frequency or key the transceiver.
The not implemented "\get_powerstat" is also the reason for a long timeout on start of WSJT-X.
Therefore it would be great, if SparkSDR could implement the following commands in rigctl:
Short: 0x88 – Long: "\get_powerstat" – Reply: "1" (Power On)
Short: "_" – Long: "\get_info" – Some clients use "_" or "\get_info" to check for proper connection
I'm running SparkSDR 2.0.991.0 on an Apple M1 Mac mini.
Thanks!
