folks,
I'm now trying to use spark SDR for the mac with my Hermes lite two and so far so good. I'm just not able to sort out how to manually enter a frequency in the VFO. using voiceover.  From a blindness perspective it appears as though you would simply be able to enter a number like 3.806, or 3806 and Spark SDR would be able to diffentiate whether that's MHZ, or KHZ depending on whether or not there is a decimal point. Am I missing something? I'm looking for a sure-fire way that I can enter a frequency, like something on the 80 meter band, and not have to fool with adjusting what also appears to be some column of numbers that could be manipulated as well.
Any Ideas?

Hi,
I'm afraid the vfo control is not ideal from an accessibility point of view and I am working to improve it.  For now it takes 10 characters to set the frequency in hertz. When you first tab into the control typing 0003800000 will tune to 3.8Mhz , this will move the cursor to the right, using the left arrow key repeatedly will get you back to the start point.

I have made some more accessibility improvements for the next version, the drop down lists now read the proper text.  I discovered Avalonia ( the graphics toolkit I use) was not sending further help text to screen readers, the Avalonia project has accepted fixes I made for this so thing should improve with the next release of Avalonia.
