Hi Alan,

I've been receiving on 136kHz recently and one of the modes in use at times is WSPR-15 (ie WSPR with 15 minute period).
The long timescale gives a big increase in sensitivity which helps on LF propagation. However the only program which supports
decoding is the old WSPRX and this has some issues - it doesn't reliably save the .wav files, hence decodes are missed.

Any chance of adding this mode to SparkSDR? I think it just needs the .wav files saving over a 15 minute period and the wsprd calling
on them with the -m option. Plus an option to set the WSPR-15 mode on the WSPR screen. But maybe that's a too simplistic view!

Hi Neil,
I'll give that a go, hopefully it should be as easy as you describe.

Thanks Alan,

I hope so too.

One thing I forget to mention, WSPR-2 uses the 1400-1600Hz "audio" band
whereas WSPR-15 uses 1600-1625. Hope that doesn't make it harder.

Hi Neil,
I finally got around to this and am now trying to test it. Just wondered when and where I might catch a signal?

Hi Neil,
I've been trying to find a copy of WSPR-X as I believe it has a sample 15 minute .c2 file that I could check my code with. I have failed to find a download so wondered if you could send me a copy of either the whole program or the sample files.

Hi Alan,

It's not really the right time of year for WSPR-15 - usually to be found on 136kHz which ismuch more
active in the winter months.

I've attached the .c2 file from the WSPRX release I have.
Not sure where you are located but it might be possible for me to send you a signal over the air if you need it.
However I'm not well equipped with HF TX antennas.

Thanks for your support.

Hi Neil,
thanks for that, It strangely decodes the same with and without the -m flag so I not quite sure what is happening. If you could send me all of wpsx or a link if you know where it is I can then test locally.
