Hey y'all,

Luichi left some cards for Nicole, MJ, and Carl in the Spark room  Tell your teams to come and sign them! They are in a blue folder right by the door and will be there until Thursday morning. We'll leave the door unlocked.

Annecto/Novo, we'll work something out when you get here :)

Michelle

Gifts:
Carl - gift card to romantic restaurant in Philly
MJ - spa in Shadyside
Nicole - nice vino

We would like an average of $6 per student, so we can get $100 a grown-up. (Obviously totally voluntary.) You're in charge of collecting that from your teammates by July 26th.
At that point we will count the funds, divide them, and appoint gift-buyers.

We will present the gifts at the party at Steel Cactus.

Greetings FUNSAC Cultists,

It is with deep regret that I, on behalf of Novo, must notify you that we will be unable to spare a delegate for this momentous occasion. In our stead we humbly submit a sacrificial offering of ideas for your consumption. Though corporally absent, please know that we attend fully in spirit with an appropriate level of jubilation in honor of these events. You will find our offerings enumerated below.

Delicious cupcakes
Mixed-media art piece with items available around the lab
A day at the spa with relaxing music from the Dark Lord Himself, Yanni
Find a skilled instrument maker to craft the smallest violin to be used to soothe the gripes of incoming students
A skilled skywriter to display the message, "Dear Carl, MJ, and Nicole: We know."

We hope you will find our offerings adequate or at least sufficient as kindling to begin the ritual.

With deep regrets of our absence,
Stephen

You've been chosen to be on the Forgotten/Underappreciated/Non-loved Staff Appreciation Committee (FUNSAC) as a representative of your Project team.

We should do something nice for Carl, Nicole, and MJ for putting up with us for the year. Something small, but thoughtful. We're going to figure out what that should be, and implement it.

The inaugural FUNSAC meeting will be tomorrow (7/18) at 6pm in the Wanderlab (just look for Ryan Gosling). It will (hopefully) be rather short, around 30 minutes.
Come with ideas and a readiness to agree quickly.
If you can't come, send someone else from your team. Or just bring someone anyway.

FUNSAC Coordinator

P.S. Tell all the students, but don't let the grown-ups find out.
P.P.S. If you're remote, figure out a way to get your ideas here.
