Hi,

I originally shared the following question on stack overflow but
haven't received the response I was hoping for. so here goes...

Does anyone know if Spark will be making the transition across to
MVC.NET 4?

I have taken a look at the public branches on the repo but nothing
there suggests any effort, also there has been no active commits since
back in February.

If so... any ideas how far away it will be?

Thanks

Hi Andy,

You're the first person I know of to request it, and I suppose now that MVC4 is in RC status that would make sense. I don't use MVC myself any more, but can you tell me if there are any features in MVC4 that you are particularly looking for support for? For example, MVC3 came along with the dynamic ViewBag where MVC2 only had ViewData Dictionary. If there's not much special support required, then it should be as straightforward as compiling Spark.Web.Mvc against the MVC4 binaries. If you could log these requests as issues on github, there is more likelihood they'll be picked up sooner.

Also, I'm not sure which public repo you're looking at, but the official public repo shows recent last commits in June, not February.

Regards,
Rob
