I apologize for being on the late freight having only attended the
last three meetings.nevertheless, has anyone created a spreadsheet
with all the existing suicide prevention providers, their service
profiles, populations and zips codes served, etc. In addition, i'd
like to see the lay of the land of providers (GIS tags of provider
locations), and layer the data (incidents of suicide by location) over
the last five years over a map of the County of San Diego. Maybe 211
has a GIS map of the providers and the EMS a GIS tag for each suicide
attempt?

Second, all the relevant data and findings from the sunsetted SHAC
would be helpful to create a baseline for future outcomes research. Is
this data available for review, analysis and summarization?

These are very interesting leads. Is anyone able to provide feedback
on this?

Walt & Cristina, 211 keeps an inventory of all behavioral health
related services in the County, which can be mapped (I'm not sure if
these are already geocoded). As for suicide attempts, exact addresses
cannot be mapped due to HIPAA. Also, unless the individual encounters
the medical system through 911, emergency department, or
hospitalization, we would be unable to identify.
