Entourage - Ical - Google

Ok - i downloaded the trial and have run into an issue where i am
getting multiple versions of events in the ENTOURAGE calendar. Google
calendar appears to be ok. I initially didn't have anything in my
google calendar, so I ran the "reset" version whereby it deleted
whatever was there and overwrote it with what was in my entourage
calendar. I then reset it to sync both ways - and that appeared to
work for a few syncs. But overnight and then a few times today, the
events in entourage multiplied 3-4 times.

I did notice last night that at some point, spanning sync preferences
forgot the username and password, as well as the calendar syncing
preferences. Don't know if the computer sleeping would cause that (as
part of the trial version). I am running Snow leopard and the latest
version of Entourage (with all updates installed).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Josh,

Usually when we see something like this it's because there are copies
of the same event spread over multiple calendars. If you download and
run our Calendar Cleaner tool (http://spanningtools.com/download ) it
will identify any duplicates (the trial is free for 14 days).

As for forgetting your name, password, and preferences, that
definitely shouldn't happen. If it happens again, please send a
troubleshooting report (from the Advanced tab of the pref pane) to
sup...@spanningsync.com and we can investigate.
