i am want Manet APp to run on this NEXUS 10 GT-P8110 device.

i am confused what to start with.

can anyone help me with the steps ???

I have not compiled a kernel for the NEXUS 10 GT-P8110, but I recommend first building and installing CyanogenMod: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Manta_Info

Once you have that working, I can try to provide more info on what you need to change in the kernel source code to get ad-hoc mode working.

Thanks for the reply,I am done with installing CyanogenMod.

ON A SIDE NOTE,can you explain me what is meant by compiling "MANETAPP" ???  Is it the normal way we compile any other android app, or are there any different steps ???

You should be able to compile the MANET Manager app (https://github.com/ProjectSPAN/android-manet-manager) like any other Android app. All the ARM binaries are precompiled, so you shouldn't have to do anything with the Android NDK. Your device does have to be rooted to run it. Also, you may want to turn the Wi-Fi off on your device the first time you use it.

I don't expect that it will work the first time unless your kernel supports Wireless Extensions, but give it a try and let me know how it goes.
