Guys, sorry to bother you, but I need your help once more!
I am ready to cover my Piper Cub, and I have the Solartex rolls as specified in the CG Instructions.
Unfortunately, I cannot locate the instructions anymore!!! It is not a big deal, the structure is complete and I know what I still have to do. But at the end of the booklet there is a clear drawing of how the Solartex Sheets (2 of them are required) must be cut in order to cover the entire a/c without the need of a third sheet.
So, if anyone has the Booklet, would he please be so kind to scan the page and e-mail it to me? I would hate to use the third sheet…
Thanks a lot!
Beppe Fascione

Jimmy, thanks a lot, you really made my day!
This availability of info thru the web is really astonishing!!!
By the way, I was told today that the AMA is working on digitizing all the old Rule Book editions.
For your info, this is the Class III Schedule that was applicable in 1959-1960.
Enjoy!

Ah, yes -- my great flying buddy Ed Hartley, and my old friend Dennis Hunt. Ed could fly the Expert pattern with that Cub. It did have some mixing in it...
Well, with an O.S. 91FS it should have unlimited vertical, I’m sure! And if it flies fast enough probably no “adverse yaw”. Rolls and other maneuvers might need some mixing, but well within the limits and capabilities of modern radios…
I’ll install a SAITO .72 in it, just as a start, and then we’ll see!!!
Thank you all for your help!
Hmmm, Beppe,
I have a Twr Hobbies "46" size Cub with an OS 72 4-S in it. I believe it is slightly bigger than an Anniversary Cub. I have certainly enough vertical to suit me, and it rolls quite well with just a bump of down elevator. It will do a respectable 4-point roll and slow roll. It does need more tail input during roll maneuvers than my SPA planes, but it is a CUB, after all.
I don't know why anyone would want to put a 91 4-S in such a pretty scale airplane. Tsk, tsk...
I hope you realize, Beppe, the "Tsk Tsk"was in jest -- just a LOL...
Absolutely!!!
