Just looked at the sign ups for Johnson City. Good Grief, the signup is nothing short of poor.
We need to support the JC club and Jerry in putting this contest on. Jerry and JC club have the BEST raffles I’ve ever attended, usually $1,500-$2000 worth of stuff. Come for the raffle even if ya don’t fly!!
Susan and I plan to drive up Friday instead of the normal Thursday, but hoping if we leave early enough we can miss the PM work traffic. We’ll miss the good cooking of Friday afternoon, cause I won’t be getting out in the traffic twice:).

Yes, I need to formally sign up—it’s my home club.

For anyone sitting on the fence about attending because of hotel costs, we have always offer accommodations and home cooked meals to the first two (or maybe three) pilots who express interest. So far I haven’t heard from anyone this year (though we’ve always had a full house in the past.) It would be a shame to have those rooms go to waste…
