It's one of the first movies about paintball , I don't remember much about the film although, I know the plot involves paintball being played on a college campus and the film is a comedy where one of the players meets a mysterious woman and eventually finds his life in danger from spies. It was an action comedy that led to a video game for the NES called Gotcha the game and there were a line of tie in paintball guns that stayed in stores for a number of years after the movie came out, I had one of these and it didn't work right at all. I remember the paint came in these little cylinders that you loaded into the gun like a clip but mine at least didn't work like it was supposed to.

Edi loves watching her movie. She is the star. I think she must think all movies are about her; after all, this is about the only movie she has seen. Supporting roles are played by Dan, her daddy; me, her mommy; and various Chinese citizens and merchants who were willing and eager to be a part of our amateur film.
That was almost six months ago, and my life has changed -- duh -- in ways I certainly wouldn't have thought to imagine. My schedule used to be determined by my job or my whims, especially during summers; now my schedule is ruled by naptime. I used to run through town unencumbered and inconspicuous; now I push a jogging stroller with a beautiful baby and sing my ABCs. I used to read novels during summer afternoons; now I read "Toad Eats Out," "The Mitten," "Early Bird," and others like it many times in a row. I used to rent movies; now I watch Baby Einstein or the Edi movie. I will still cry sometimes when we get to the part where Edi is in the arms of her caregiver. She doesn't know that her life is about to change, too, in ways that she would never imagine.
And still--in, for example, a scene that reunites Truman with his long-absent father--the film reaches an improbable emotional intensity. The two men hug; the folks in a bar cheer; Christof cues the swelling music and crinkles with paternal pride; and the grand fakery of it all works its sorcery on the heart. In one scene you get the truth in an actor's lie, the art in the oldest melodramatic tricks, the gotcha! of cinema's power to create a simpler, more beautiful world on screen. This is pure moviemaking, naked and irresistible.
It shouldn't be surprising that this movie made almost TWO BILLION DOLLARS worldwide. We know you saw it, and you probably can't even think of anyone who didn't. Seriously, though, this flick is a shot-for-shot live-action remake of the original movie, and yet everyone still headed to the theater. You should feel duped, because this movie only scored 53% on Rotten Tomatoes. The Disney remakes gotcha again, and this time with CGI lions.
