With 1.6 billion in cash reserves they are driving through innovative products within affiliates marketing. They are looking to take on Java Back End and Front End Java DeveloperS. Coming into the office in Dublin city you will have the opportunity to work within one of their Product development teams. The current structure 3 Teams in Dublin currently – Other Teams in Berlin and San Fran Team 1 - Front End (mostly greenfield applications) Team 2 - Back End (Concurrency, Data Sets, Algorithms) Team 3 - Persistence layer Projects include: Working on a high volume advertising platform Big Data Processing Your Role: You will be working on their core platform & ancillary Products Own conception, analysis, design and development of features for their platforms within a well-defined software engineering process (Scrum based) Also opportunity to work on their high availability SaaS Web Applications Ensuring that you will Scale APIS for Millions of Users The tools and technology you will work on contribute to one of the largest Transactional Sites Worldwide. You will be involved in the full development Lifecycle You will also be looking at the security of the systems and monitoring fraudulent activites Continuous delivery – Rapid deployment! My client has an ongoing roadmap of work perfect to go live with projects, they change and adjust where needs be. By the time its perfect, its probably time to move onto something new! As a back-end engineer, you will be designing, implementing, testing, maintaining, and owning high-performance service-oriented architecture systems as part of an agile-based software development team. Technologies you will work with Include Java Spring, Hibernate, Performance testing, Hadoop, JavaScript, Agile scrum. Your Skillset 5+ years of Java software development experience (Spring/Hibernate) Ability to contribute to architecture design on user stories discussion, design, develop and roll out new features in a fast paced environment. Strong knowledge of domain model design, sql and strong experience of api design Good knowledge on performance tuning such as resolving bottlenecks, caching, database query optimization, jvm and application tuning.
