v1.0.4 is out

This is a patch release on the v1.0 branch.

Some of the most exciting things in this release are:
Python 3.14 support
Bugfixes for the solver
Support for MacOS Tahoe

If you look carefully, this is identical to the 1.0.3 release announcement to this point, because it’s a re-release. I accidentally released v1.0.3 targetting the develop branch instead of the release branch. We are re-releasing this as 1.0.4 and deleting the 1.0.3 release, so we do not commit the cardinal sin of changing a release once it has been released.
