Dear all,

I am new user of spack. I tried to follow the instructions of basic usage provided in Spack webpage and I managed to install all the packages i wanted.

However I think that something went wrong at some point since now after activating the environment, I have to manually load some packages that are installed in the environment. it's like the environment activation does not manage to set the environment correctly for all packages.

I obviously check that those packages were installed in the environment. In fact there is something odd, after activating the environment, `spack find' shows me all the packages I want but some of them are not actually available when compiling my library or when I try to use a binary provided by a spack package. This behavior only affect some of the installed packages.

I ran `spack reindex' but it did not solve the problem.

Do you have any idea of what might not be working?

Best,

  Daniel
