Flexible Hours?

Hey all.  My name is Daniel.  I am a senior mechanical engineer from Cal Poly Pomona.  I drag race and work on cars in my free time (which I don't have much of!!!).  The video is me driving in the far lane.

I'll be starting April 1st, which is probably after most of you guys finish!  I'll be in the structures department.

How flexible are the hours?  If you have to miss a couple days, can it be made up for on the weekend?  Has anyone dared ask for time off?  There is a huge 4 day drag race in Vegas two weeks after I start my internship...Currently I'm planning on missing it, but I really would like to be able to race.  The last thing I want to do is screw my internship though...

I can't wait to start!  I hope some of you are still around by the time I get there.
